This policy applies to Survey Launch Co. ("Survey Launch") and the Survey Launch domain, surveyentrance.com, and related subdomains used to collect, process, and/or store Personal Data for the purpose of market research as a service to our clients. Survey Launch complies with the applicable laws and regulations protecting the privacy of Personal Data in all the jurisdictions in which it operates.
Commitment to Privacy

Survey Launch has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the U.S. DPF Principles with respect to such information. Our Role: Data Processor
Survey Launch acts solely as a data processor on behalf of its clients. Our clients are the data controllers who determine the purposes and means of processing Personal Data. Survey Launch does not independently determine how Personal Data is used, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Data it processes beyond the performance of services on behalf of those controllers.
As a data processor, Survey Launch processes Personal Data only according to the documented instructions of each client-controller, and only for the specific research purposes for which it has been engaged. Survey Launch will retain Personal Data for as long as it is contractually obligated to do so in order to provide services to its clients.
Purpose
Survey Launch is contracted by its clients to perform data collection using online surveys. Any Personal Data supplied to Survey Launch is used exclusively for legitimate research or statistical purposes. Any collection of Personal Data is limited to the information that is relevant for the purpose of processing.
Your survey responses are held in confidence and combined with other survey participant responses, which are shared in aggregate with the clients who commission the data collection. Survey Launch does not sell, rent, or otherwise commercialize Personal Data for any purpose beyond the scope of the commissioned research.
Notice
If you participate in a survey hosted by Survey Launch, you may be asked to disclose Personal Data such as your IP address, age, gender, geographic location, household size/income, as well as your personal opinions on products and/or services relevant to the research being conducted.
In accordance with the DPF Principles, Survey Launch informs individuals of the following:
This notice is provided in clear and conspicuous language at or before the point at which individuals are asked to provide Personal Data, and in any event before Survey Launch uses such information for a purpose other than that for which it was originally collected.
Choice
As a data processor acting on behalf of its clients, Survey Launch offers individuals the following choices for limiting the use and disclosure of their Personal Data:
All requests to limit use or disclosure should be submitted to privacy@surveylaunch.com. Survey Launch will acknowledge your request within 5 business days, coordinate with the relevant controller-client, suspend non-essential processing of your data pending resolution, and respond with an outcome within 45 days. Further detail on each of these choices is set out in the subsections below.
Processor Role and Controller Responsibility
Because Survey Launch acts solely as a data processor, the primary obligation to offer individuals opt-out and opt-in choice rights rest with the data controllers, Survey Launch's clients, who determine the purposes of processing. Individuals wishing to exercise choice rights over how their Personal Data is used or disclosed should direct those requests to the client organization that engaged them to participate in the survey.
If you are unable to identify the relevant controller or require assistance routing your request, you may contact Survey Launch at privacy@surveylaunch.com and we will make reasonable efforts to direct your request to the appropriate party.
Voluntary Participation
Participation in online surveys hosted on behalf of Survey Launch's clients is voluntary. You may choose whether to participate and therefore whether to disclose any Personal Data. Your responses will be collected and used solely for the market research purpose for which they are intended. Survey Launch will not knowingly collect Personal Data from those under the age of 13 without first obtaining permission from their parent or guardian.
Opt-Out of Future Contact
If you would no longer like to be contacted for the purpose of market research surveys, you have two options:
Contact the client organization that you interact with directly to opt out of future survey invitations from that company; or
Send an email to privacy@surveylaunch.com to be placed on Survey Launch's internal "do not contact" list, which will prevent Survey Launch from using your contact information to solicit future survey participation on behalf of any client.
Use for Materially Different Purposes
Survey Launch will not use your Personal Data for any purpose that is materially different from the research purpose for which it was originally collected without first providing you the opportunity to opt out of such use. As a processor, Survey Launch is contractually prohibited from doing so without express authorization from the relevant controller. If you have concerns about new or expanded uses of your data, please contact privacy@surveylaunch.com.
Requesting Limitation of Use or Disclosure
If you wish to limit how Survey Launch uses or discloses your Personal Data, you may submit a request directly to Survey Launch at any time. Upon receiving such a request, Survey Launch will:
Requests to limit use or disclosure may be submitted by email to privacy@surveylaunch.com. Please include sufficient detail to identify yourself and describe the limitation you are requesting so that Survey Launch can process your request effectively.
Sensitive Personal Data
Where surveys involve the collection of sensitive Personal Data, including but not limited to information relating to medical or health conditions, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, or sex life, affirmative express consent (opt-in) is required before such data is disclosed to any third party or used for a purpose beyond that for which it was originally collected. This obligation rests primarily with the data controller-client. Survey Launch will not process sensitive Personal Data without appropriate instruction and confirmation from the controller that required consents have been obtained.
If you believe Survey Launch is processing your sensitive Personal Data without proper consent, you may raise that concern directly with Survey Launch at privacy@surveylaunch.com. Survey Launch will log your concern, notify the relevant controller-client, suspend any processing of the sensitive data in question pending clarification, and respond to you within 45 days with the outcome.
Onward Transfer
In the normal course of business, Survey Launch conducts research and statistical analysis and enters into signed contractual agreements for the processing of Personal Data. All contractual agreements include adherence to the following:
Survey Launch shall not subcontract or delegate any of its obligations to any third party without prior written consent from the acting controller. In cases where subprocessors are engaged with controller consent, Survey Launch will ensure they are contractually bound to provide the same level of privacy protection as required by the DPF Principles.
Survey Launch may be required to disclose Personal Data in response to lawful requests from public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
In cases of onward transfer to third parties of Personal Data of EU individuals, UK individuals, and Swiss individuals, Survey Launch maintains potential liability under the DPF Principles to the extent it is responsible for the event giving rise to any damage.

However, no security program can guarantee against all possible breaches. Survey Launch cannot guarantee that Personal Data will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation
Survey Launch takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. Survey Launch processes Personal Data only in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was collected, and retains Personal Data only for as long as needed to fulfill those purposes or as required by contract with the relevant controller.
Survey Launch commits to adherence to this policy for as long as it retains Personal Data received under the DPF.
Access
Individuals have the right to access the Personal Data that Survey Launch processes about them, and to request correction, amendment, or deletion of data that is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of the DPF Principles.
